Ginny returned the kiss softly, then laid her head on his chest. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I won't impose though. I know you have work and other things to keep you busy."
Ginny didn't want to leave, but she knew she had to go. She had a funeral to plan, so many obligations pressing down on her like a weight. "Maybe we can see each other before I start this new job," she said. She doubted it would happen.
