"They're doing well, as per usual. I haven't spoken to Father since I started Auror training, but Mum seems interested enough in what I'm doing, for whatever reason." He shrugged awkwardly. "Emergency trip to Paris?" Draco perked up a little at that thought, his mind flashing back to his conversation with Blaise that one blissful weekend. Blaise would have whisked him off to Paris had Draco just asked his friend for help last time things got far too busy. "Sounds like something I wouldn't mind partaking in, love."
At the mention of debutants, he wrinkled his nose a little. "I could care less about most of them, Panse, and you know it. If I had to be forced to marry, I'm going to choose someone I know personally, not someone I know only by association, and Mum knows this. It's all well and good that this is part of it, love." Draco wanted to go on, but he felt suddenly trapped again. Pansy was using this as another way of getting at what he felt about Ginny. He placated her for now, keeping up a firm smile and sipping at his champagne lightly.
