"I've had too much space in my life," murmured Draco softly, and with those words it was like a key turning in the lock. He surrendered to instinct, and let his emotions take control right now. "Stop apologizing, love. You've done nothing wrong. I'm the insecure arsehole," remarked Draco, chuckling just a little.
"I'm not very good at this give-and-take thing when it comes to relationships, Gin. Blaise taught me that bit, actually." Draco smiled fondly, knowing she couldn't be all that upset if she was talking to him still. "I think I just jumped into this relationship without really knowing not only what I was doing, but also what I wanted, as well." He managed a weak smile. "Maybe I'm not quite so ready to just go straight to the submissive role as I thought. I rather like the idea of trying some things...experimenting, and such." Draco flushed a little. "I think it's just the idea of being trapped that I didn't like," he explained quietly, wondering if she'd realize what he meant.
