The door opened and Kent Rose walked in. The Alchemist wore a Columbia University sweater, sleeves pushed back to his elbows and black fitting slacks complimenting his thighs and calves - not that Kent bothered to care about that kind of nonsense. He was a very serious student and was building a reputation for himself in the scientific community.
"The seeds you asked for," he told Barclay and handed out the envelope that contained seeds from a remote place in Brazil, harvested by a colleague of Kent's who worked there during the breaks.
"What's this?" Seeing the spread of something on the floor, Kent's curiosity rose. Barclay was always up to something interesting. He folded his arms and leaned against one of the tables, careful not to disturb any of the plants and accidentally poison himself or... who even knew when it came to Barclay's greenhouse.
