"Espresso," Mickey said, as he took the tin filled with ground coffee out of the fridge. He started scooping small spoonfuls into the machine. "You want black? Otherwise, we got some milk in the fridge and I'm sure there's sugar here somewhere."
Of course, Mickey was aware of what kind of food they had. His boyfriends did not eat food, they just drank the blood, which they kept in a separate fridge in the bedroom to avoid prying eyes. Mickey already had a hard enough time explaining to guests why there were brown-red stains in their pans.
"Well, they're vampires," Mickey said over the noise of the coffee machine. "Both of them, though Leon used to be a witch. How... How do you know about St. Margaret's? When did you find out? Why did you not attend there?"
