James rolled her eyes at Josiah's lack of balance.
"Sit back down," she instructed, shoving him back onto the couch. "I'll take care of the sandwiches." It didn't look like it was going to be very difficult convincing him to stay where he was, so she headed for the kitchen and quickly put together several sandwiches, adding some cut vegetables and fruit she found in the fridge to the sides of the boys' plates and, after a moment's thought, hers and Josiah's as well.
"Guys, dinner! Better get down here if you don't want your uncle to eat your share!"
