Stephen lifted the foot that his hands were currently rubbing, showing it to her and wiggling it a bit for emphasis. "Because I can stop doing this, if you want. I'm not doing it for my health. Do you want to know why I'm doing it? I'll tell you," he said, not waiting for an answer. "I'm doing it because it's half my fault that you're pregnant and that your feet probably hurt, so I feel a bit responsible. But I can stop if you're going to mock me."
