James slipped her arms fully around Josiah's waist, anchoring him to her and to the present moment and trying to keep him from falling too deeply into his own thoughts. She needed him present for this; there were too many decisions that had to be made that she couldn't make for him.
"That's good to know." She turned her head to look at Josiah questioningly. "What do you think, babe? It's something that needs to be done soon, and the quicker we can get that settled the easier it will be to move on to taking care of everything else." She would not let him lose his nephews like he'd lost his mother, and she sure as hell wasn't going to let those little boys lose anyone else they loved.
Her own feelings on something happening to him didn't count at the moment.
