Adrian groaned. It was February, and although there were enough charms on the flat to keep it warm, he still didn't particularly relish the idea of getting out of the shower and having to use drying charms. His wand was all the way in Lizzy's bedroom.
Rinsing the last of the soap and shampoo off of himself and putting everything back where it belonged, he sent one last longing look at the showerhead before turning off the warm water and hopping out of the shower, practically running for the wand lying on her bedside table.
"Yeah, can't possibly incite the wrath of Caro," he muttered, attempting to dry himself off as quickly as possible. "I guess laughing as everything crashes and burns is a plus, though." A flash of color caught his eye and he gave Lizzy a longer, more appreciative glance. "You look incredible."
