When they reappeared at the far end of the Alley, Callen looked behind him to make certain they were in the right place. Perfect. There didn't even seem to be a crowd tonight.
"C'mon," he said, tugging on her hand to get her to follow him inside. The restaurant was small and dimly lit and nothing special to look at, but this was definitely an instance of looks being deceiving. "Cleo!" he called, glancing around.
"Ahh, Callen. Haven't seen you around here in a while, my lad," the woman behind the bar said with a broad smile, her softly rolling accent reminiscent of the Caribbean. "And who is this lovely young lady?"
