Cormac sighed, pulling her into a hug and letting his chin rest on top of her head. He tamped down on his anger at her ex-husband; Gryffindor though he was, anger was no way to solve a problem as serious as this.
"Of course I might've been the target," he muttered, rolling his eyes. "Look, can you just get these guys out of here and we'll give you our statements tomorrow or something?" he asked.
Lance shrugged. "That's fine with me. Not going to get much accomplished this late anyway." Personally, he voted they just chuck the case at the Aurors.
