William was in a rather grumpy mood. Audrey's house elf Trippy had awakened him by poking him vigorous with one long finger to inform him that there was a wizard at the door demanding to see Missy Aud-ey. Why the annoyingly bouncing thing had decided to wake him and not Audrey was beyond him. It wasn't like he'd gotten any more sleep than his new wife; they'd both tumbled into bed after three am and then hadn't actually gotten around to sleeping until well after that.
He pressed a kiss to a sleeping Audrey's shoulder before slipping out of bed to go deal with this wizard. He found his trousers but his robes and shirt appeared to be missing so he appropriated Audrey's dressing gown. It was too small to close properly but at least it cut some of the morning chill.
Grumbling all the while, he stumbled into the foyer to find a rather familiar fellow standing there sneering at him. "Oh, it's you," Will said as he rubbed at his face. "Some of us work at nights. I know actual work is an alien concept to you but do try to wrap your mind around the concept. Why don't you go away for eight hours or forever." He glowered at the man. "I prefer the second option myself."
