"Will," Audrey's voice cracked on even the short word and she stared at him, shocked. That hadn't been why she'd come here, she hadn't had any expectations and she hoped that he knew that. She'd only come because when she'd suddenly had her whole life turn upside down and shaken, she'd just known that she needed to be near Will. To clear her head. To find her footing. To feel safe for a minute. She'd hoped he could help her make sense of it, not offer her a way out.
Especially not such an appealing way out.
But she could hardly accept it. She took both of his hands hands in hers, sitting forward and looking at him very seriously. "I can't let you do that for me, but, Merlin, do I love you for offering. It's not fair to throw your life into upheaval too."
