That shook Audrey out of her anger, just for a second. For long enough to take in Will and his wand and the hard expression on his face and know that he was absolutely serious. All she'd have to do was say that word and Yaxley would no longer be a problem. She'd never have to let the predatory, cruel, disgusting bastard near her, yet alone be expected to share his name and his life and his bed.
But it also made her insides freeze and twist and contort. She'd been to Azkaban. She'd marry Xavier Yaxley before she'd see Will stuck there.
"Don't," she whispered, settling back, arms crossed as she looked at the ceiling with defeat in her eyes. "It's marry an appropriately pureblooded male by my birthday or everything goes to some stranger. I may not like my father but it's my home we're talking about, my livelihood, my name. And Yaxley's willing to take me on, Mother's seen to that."
