Audrey was vibrating at such a high frequency that just his hand on her arm, pulling her into the room, made her jolt. She felt like she was going to explode. She could only hope that the force of said explosion would somehow find it's way to her mother, her father and Yaxley and do them some sort of grievous physical harm.
Merlin, she was so angry she couldn't even think coherently.
"We're getting married, apparently," she bit out. "Perhaps tomorrow, but certainly before the seventeenth of February. I'd ask you to save the date, but I'm afraid it's going to be a rather rushed affair."
She sank down onto his couch, her knees literally no longer able to hold her and laughed bitterly, hollowly. "Everyone will probably think I'm pregnant, too. Society will go to town on that one."
