This was it, Oliver was well aware that everything that he had been putting aside so that things would be different with Jessica was now all coming to a head right now. It was strange-he'd slept with loads of women, and it was only recently that he realized how much power there could be in it. Perhaps it was that until he had his heart broken by Gwen (and then subsequently broke the heart of the lovely Dani, which he still felt ill about), he never really slept with someone he cared about. There was much more to it when there were all these feelings involved. But, unlike before, his brain was telling him that this was right. Jessica was the girl he should be with, and even though the woman of his dreams hated him now, he realized that maybe his dreams were a little childish.
Oliver reached up to take Jessica's hand in his, nudging against her. "This will change everything, red," he said softly, smiling and looking her straight in the eye before he slipped inside.
He meant it in so many senses, and he was sure it was true.
