Chris had been spending way too much time studying lately. Of course he'd made time for his boyfriend, but his camera had been neglected lately and that was something he needed to remedy. It had been raining all morning, but it let up a little after lunch. It would be the perfect time to go out and see what, if anything, the rain had stirred up. Maybe he'd get lucky and some of the wild life that lived around the lake was drawn out.

He walked around snapping a few pictures. None of which he thought would be overly spectacular because the cloud cover was constantly there blocking any decent lighting. Then it was as if the stars aligned and the perfect shot emerged. A single beam of sun light broke through the clouds and illuminated the end of a log where a group of turtles had come out for the day.

Once he got the shot it was as if the gods had decided that he'd had enough time to enjoy the out of doors and the clouds opened up and soaked him within seconds. Chris tucked his camera under his robe and made a mad dash for the closest entrance. When he opened the door, a rush of wind and rain followed him into the corridor splattering anyone who happened to be passing by.
