The silence was weird just because they both had things on their minds that tied into one another and were ridiculously awkward and upsetting. So she really didn't mind it when Oliver changed the topic to the dance. Oh, she would so mock him for it, sounding like a sixth year girl but that was beside the point. It was in Alicia's contract as adopted little sister to tease Oliver.
"Oliver, you're sounding like the sixth and seventh year girls all talking about the dance, are you possessed?!"
Giggling, and thankful for that as it meant the mood had lightened up, Alicia grinned and sipped her tea before leaning against the wall. She had no idea why she adored sitting on counters, but she did. Probably something about how it felt like she could feasibly be flying in that her feet weren't on the ground but there was no risk involved.
"But it does sound fun. It will be brilliant getting to go back and see people." Especially as she had missed the Yule Ball so hadn't gotten to do something like this. "I mean, I go dancing all the time anyway but never with you lot from school."
