While her voice was light and teasing, it did bother her some that she had a chance to pursue her dream and then her health got in the way. It had been two years since then and sometimes it still hurt that she wasn't able to play. She was just used to it now so she didn't brood on the fact nearly as much. And as a general rule, she did enjoy her job at The Harp so it worked out. Just sometimes she missed it a lot more. Especially after Gwenog's comment on her journal entry in regards to dancing and how there was no other feeling like flying. It was true and while technically she wasn't even supposed to do that, she would under Oliver's supervision.
Answers were difficult at times, especially on topics that were of a more emotional level. But the two were comfortable with one another. And honest, they kept one another honest, really, so it would work out. Even if it took a bit to find the words.
"I don't understand why she would hate you... but if she were really your perfect woman, she should enjoy talking to you. But it's good that you aren't above moving on. You deserve to be happy and pining after someone who may seem perfect but shoots you down all the time? Not really a way to have happiness... But I'm sure you'll find someone who is perfect for you and does enjoy talking to you."
So says the girl who had gone and fallen for one of her best mates, only for one of her other best mates to also fancy him and thus stayed quiet on the matter. Then again, sometimes one was best able to give advice because of the mistakes they made? Or something? Yeah, that was it.
