Smiling, Megan took a sip of her water. She loved the idea of living with Chris and Hannah. It wasn't something that she had put much prior thought into... then again, she didn't think about life after school very much. It was too stressful. She knew that she didn't really want to live with her parents, but there weren't any better alternatives yet.
When Hannah made a logical point about having waited tables for so long, Megan shrugged. "All I'm saying is that I couldn't carry a tray of mugs without dropping it on someone's head." And she'd find a way for that to happen even without holding the tray above peoples' heads.
Following suit, she took a few of Chris' pictures to look through. "Your date pictures are beautiful, love," Megan said, putting special emphasis on the word "date." This sort of gentle teasing was alright by her. She only hoped that Chris was as excited about dating Simon as she and Hannah were.
