"Excuse me for wanting my two favorite girls together in the same room. I've missed hanging out in the common room with the both of you this week. I don't know how were going to overcome that once we graduate." He didn't know how he was going to do anything once he graduated. He felt that his parents would easily be able to maneuver his life if he stayed home, yet he didn't have the funds to leave right away. If he was going to have to deal with them daily he would need his friends more than ever.
He adjusted himself on the seat and reached for the water when Megan brought it. He took a drink and smiled as he listened to the girls go on about waiting tables. He was sure it was good money, but dealing with people he didn't know face to face was a bit intimidating. At least with a camera in hand, he had a barrier between himself and others. Just as he got comfortable Megan suddenly turned the conversation on him.
"Dates? I've not had dates," he protested it had only been one date. He summoned his bag over and took out the pictures he'd taken of Nelson's column, the picnic, the park, and Simon. "I got these developed yesterday. They're pretty good don't you think?"
