The hug was a surprise but Aidan was used to girls impulsively hugging him. It had made him uncomfortable at first, but he soon learned that it came with the territory and now he took it in stride. Granted, it was a little different this time since Dani wasn't a random fan but a friend, but still, it was nice. Grinning back at her, all he could say was, "You're welcome."
She really was adorable - in a way that reminded him of his daughter, certainly not in a creepy way like that stupid gossip sheet had suggested. The French accent had him raising an eyebrow in curiosity but then he remembered something about her being half-French. "Sure, I'd love to meet them."
Following her over to her family, he smiled warmly at them, shook hands with her parents and then her brothers, both of whom were very handsome but one in particular definitely caught his eye. His smile warmed instinctively when shaking Robert's hand, eyes lingering a little longer. It wasn't deliberate at all, far from it, he just couldn't help it. So of course he agreed to come over for dinner and to bring Siobhan with him, smiling at Dani in bemusement.
