"Vicky already spoke to you?" Simon let out a small mock groan. "Sorry! I should have guessed she would. She likes you, if that wasn't clear," he had no idea what his friend had said to Chris, but he knew Vicky was all in favour of them so he didn't doubt she was supportive, but likely to warn Chris about hurting Simon, since she was protective like that.
"Trust me, I fully plan to open my own restaurant. If I could do it now, I would," Simon sighed, wishing he could fast-forward and be done with school. Sometimes he wondered how his parents would react if he decided to put an end to his lessons at the end of this year. He was of age, and the Weasley twins had proven that NEWTs weren't necessary for success.
He grinned at Chris' offer and comment. "Ha, looks like it," he said before biting into the quiche with obvious relish, posing for the shot without protest. Simon didn't mind be photographed and he tended to come out well on camera.
"So is that what you're going to do, be a photographer for publications and such like?" he asked when his mouth was once again clear. "Or would you rather be doing portraits and arty shots?"
