"She doesn't rally look that much older though, to be fair," she commented, rather unperturbed that his mother's looks was probably not something Neville was keen on discussing. Dani half turned, looking at the pictures with him, thinking quite the opposite. Wizarding pictures and portraits still threw her somewhat, when she was so used to framed things on walls being a single moment, captured and preserved. Some of their family shots here, Rob spinning her around, Roland muddy after chasing a stray calf, suggested motion even in their stillness.
Realising after a moment that she was keeping Neville in the hall, she indicated with a nod of her head ad a soft "come on, then" and led him into the lounge room, from which they could see a blonde and brunette mother gossiping in the kitchen together. Dani curled into her dad's favourite armchair. "Having a good break?" She herself had been over the moon to get away from Hogwarts and all that had gone on in the weeks before they left.
