Gwen looked at the flowers for a long moment then took them, smiling. "Thanks. I'll just toss these in some water then before we go." She spun back toward her tiny kitchen and rummaged through the dishes, mostly clean, littering what little counter space she had until she found a large glass that seemed to work well enough for the flowers. She filled it with water from the tap and set the flowers in them before returning to Oliver.
"You're going to take my sidealong?" she asked, a bit wary. She rarely trusted anyone but herself to do the apparating, but part of her did figure that if he liked her as much as he said he did then he wouldn't let her get splinched. "Can't you just tell me where we're going and I'll meet you there?"
