Shaking her head and still giggling Pansy made her way to the Slytherin common room, with her charms book tucked under one arm.

She had almost gotten her mirth under control when she caught sight of Daphne's hat, and the giggles began anew.

"Merlin Daph," Pansy said in between giggles as she sat down next to her friend.

"you're lucky, at least its just pink, and its on the top of your head, you could have ended up with horrible long nose hair, or something worse" she continued, grinning evilly and thumbing through her charms book.

Daphne shot a glare at Pansy before reaching up and tugging the hat down farther over her now pink locks. "Get it out of your system..." she grumbled softly, not so much annoyed at Pansy as she was at herself. "I mean, I admit that if it were you in this position, I'd be giggling as well."

She paused and heaved a sigh, fingering a strand of pink that poked out from the hat. "At least Draco hasn't seen it yet...and Theo actually complemented it..."

	"I'm trying," Pansy replied, biting her lip to keep from giggling again, "but that hat is not helping one bit," she said, reaching out and pulling it off of her friend's head. "Look, it was the only hat I had with me - you know I'm not fond of t..." Her words were cut off with a shriek when Pansy tugged the hat off, her hands instantly going to her head as if that would cover the pink mess that was currently her hair.

"Like I said, it could have been worse..." Daphne grumbled, dropping down on the couch and staring moodily into the fireplace. "It could have ended up orange like the Weasleys..."

Pansy raised an eyebrow and shook her head at Daphne's shriek, "I can't very well fix your hair through that atrocious hat now can I?" She asked with a slight sneer.

"Yuck," she said making a face, "can you imagine ginger hair with your complexion? I'd shave it off for you" she continued with a laugh.

"Hmmm, lets try this," Pansy said after a moment of searching her book, biting her lower lip briefly she took her wand and aimed at her friend.

"Surrexit Ultra Capillos" Pansy intoned swishing her wand and flicking it at Daphne's hair.

	Daphne stuck her tongue out at Pansy then sighed, looking up as Pansy waved her wand and murmured an incantation. "..." Her dark eyes cut towards her bangs before she reached up and held up a strand of hair. "...still pink. Merlin, I think it's brighter..." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"And...bigger," Pansy replied with a sad shake of her head. "I think I added volume instead of blonde," she said as she returned to the text book. Theodore decided to give the girls a little time to try and fix Daphne's hair before he headed for the Slytherin common room. He finished up his latest potions essay, then grabbed a random book from the pile in his trunk before he made his way to the common room.

He spotted Daphne immediately and tried unsuccessfully to not grin at the sight of her very bright pink head of hair. He nodded in their direction, then found an unoccupied chair near the girls and opened up the book he'd brought with him, taking refuge behind it. He certainly wasn't able to focus on the text in front of him and instead listened intently to hear if Pansy and Daphne were having any success changing Daphne's hair back to blonde.

Theo finally dared to peek out from behind his book again and asked, "Need some help?"

"No, I've only tried once Theo," Pansy said, poking her tongue out at the boy.

"Hmmm, I have an idea," she said as she flipped to the grooming charms.

"lets try this" she said as she continued to wonder which word Daphne had mispronounced. </i>"Naturali Colore Viridi"</i> Pansy murmured, flicking her wand at her friend and mispronouncing a word of her own.

"Oh, bloody hell," Pansy exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Well, um, its doesn't seem to be slimy, and its Slytherin rather than bogey green." she said sheepishly.

	Daphne smiled gratefully at Theo before chuckling at Pansy. "Just promise you'll save me before she attempts to make me bald." Daphne called out, looking back up at Pansy. Only to groan a second later when she saw the no-longer pink hair hanging in her face. "Pansy! I was better off with PINK hair! Not looking like I have a bit too much house pride!" Theodore shrugged dismissively at Pansy and disappeared once again behind the book he was pretending to read. When he heard Daphne groan, he risked another glance in the direction of the two girls by peering out over the top of his book.

Upon seeing Daphne's new hair colour, Theo ducked down behind his book again and couldn't help but grin behind it. Maybe Daphne was right to be worried that Pansy would wind up turning her bald. He cleared his throat rather loudly and said, "Still here if you need me."

"I don't know," Pansy said haughtily as she stared at the book on her lap "I think the green looks rather nice,"

Rereading the charm again she tried to figure out what had gone wrong "Oh for the love of," Pansy exclaimed in annoyance after a bit of reading, "I think I said viridi when I should have said redire." She confessed, looking apologetically at Daphne.

"Last try, if this doesn't work I'll give you to Nott, and I WON'T make you bald" Pansy stated, tossing a glare at the book that Theo was hiding behind.

Cracking her knuckles Pansy took a deep breath and carefully said the charm again as she swished her wand above Daphne's head.

"Naturali Colore Redire AH HA!" Pansy exclaimed with a grin as the green was replace with blonde, "THAT was it!"

Daphne held her breath as Pansy cast the spell then looked up, seeing blonde bangs. She reached into her bag and pulled out a mirror to look, sighing in relief when she saw blonde hair where the pink and green had been.

"...other than my hair having a slightly pink tint, which I can deal with, it looks great." she replied with a grin. "Thank you, Pansy. You saved me from having to hex people."
