Ben led Lisa out the front door and down the narrow set of stairs that led to the kitchen of the Raven's Nest, then out the back door. It was early in the day, so it wasn't as bustling and busy as it normally would have been, and they were able to slip out the back without garnering more than an interested look or two. It was a nice day out, and the walk down to the harbour was pleasant. Ben had to stop himself from reaching for her hand while they walked, it just seemed like it would have been the most natural thing in the world.
"This is my boat," he told her as they came up on his slip.
