"Never," Lorcan replied promptly, her eye roll only making him smirk more. He didn't actually pun every song title. Out of his large catalogue of songs, probably only ten percent had obvious puns, and then another twenty more subtle ones. The rest made some allusion to dark subjects, but really, with his style he would hardly be singing something with a poppy, sunny title.
As Lindsay fell briefly silent, Lorcan sucked on the blood pop and idly reviewed the song in front of him. Grabbing a quill from his assistant's stash, he started to scribble down some revisions. When she spoke again, he glanced up with a slightly puzzled frown. "Bat... ah, that one," Lorcan realised she was referring to the one he called his 'dark angel' costume. It was an elaborate and awkward piece, not just because of the huge wings, but also the long fake nails, but it did look very effective on stage, especially when he was lifted into the air by charms to look as if he was flying.
He leaned his elbows on the table, resting his chin on his entwined fingers, and regarded Lindsay with one eyebrow raised. "And why should I discard it, hmmm?"
