WHO: Alicia Spinnet and George Weasley WHEN: Sunday evening, September 23rd WHERE: Aly's flat WHAT: Really scary revelations and reactions. RATING: PG-13 (swearing) STATUS: Closed. Complete.
Aly had spent her day alternating between pacing and sitting in place, bouncing her knee up and down rapidly. She wanted a drink. Desperately. But that clearly was not the best idea, considering. So she restrained herself. Barely. She didn’t really feel rational actually. It was kind of hard to think in the midst of the emotions that were assaulting her. Fear, excitement, nervousness, regret, uncertainty, confusion. It was a pretty potent cocktail. She’d just been waiting for George to finish up at the shop. Waiting for the knock on the door. Aly had absolutely no idea how she was going to tell him. And she was trying to remind herself that it was entirely possible that everything was a false alarm. That she was overreacting. It was kind of hard to make herself believe it.
She finally stopped pacing and sank back down on the couch, knee bouncing in place again. She forced out a breath, trying to steady her shaky nerves.
