He wasn't sure what exactly had made him do it. It probably had something to do with the dream he had last night: sitting on top of his (flying) Mini Cooper with a Union Jack flag waving next to a flag with the Ministry M on it, waving as he hovers down the main road in Godric's Hollow. It was a good dream. Unbelievable because Lily wouldn't let him charm the car, but still a good dream. Somehow that dream had turned his joking scribble in his son's journal into an action plan.
