"Geek and Sundry..." Duck laughed, not at Pippa, but with a fondness and appreciation. "Sounds perfect," he said, of the name and also the image of Pippa coming to feed him while he was working on his experiments. He knew that his brother was anxious about his certainty that Pippa was his soulmate, but Duck was absolutely sure that there would never ever be anyone else he would love in the same way as he loved Pippa.
And when Pippa confirmed her thoughts matched his, Duck's heart filled up again. For a brief moment he wished they were a few years older, so he could give her the ring he just knew he would present to her, down on one knee of course, and start their life together. "Heh, you might want a couple of girls, Pips, four Bundy boys and me, we'll eat the family into poverty," he teased, wrapping his arms around her and nuzzling the top of her head. Duck had no objections to the prospect of four children and considering Pippa was a twin there was a high possibility that she would have twins. "I know, it's the same for me. We're hand in hand no matter what else the future brings, surrounded by all our friends and family..." he chuckled again. "Maybe that's why I'm not anxious about what I do so much, because as long as I have the other things, my job isn't such a big deal."
