Pippa Montgomery will be the apple of your eye. (modishly) wrote in afreshrpg, |
Pippa squeezed Duck's knee affectionately. He was so sweet and honest, and she loved him completely. She didn't know how she got so lucky, but she didn't question it. She simply revelled in his touch and kiss, and she loved him more every time she saw him. She leaned back into his hug, her eyes closed in contentment. "You are the constant every time I try to imagine my future," she said. A small, contented sigh escaped her as he resumed kneading.
"I know I don't need to know for sure yet, but so many seem to have an idea of what they're going to do." She thought for a moment, relaxing further under his hands. "Maybe I will open that shop. Geek and Sundry." She smiled as he spoke. She could imagine him in a workshop, tinkering with Muggle devices, trying to make them work with magic. She saw the smile on his face when he gets it to work. "I can see that," she told him. "You'll be hard at work, and I'll bring you a sandwich."
When he mentioned a family and rested his head against hers, Pippa knew what Duckie was thinking, and she flushed with pleasure. "I want four," she said quietly. "Boy or girl, it doesn't matter." She bit her lip as her smile broadened. She leaned back and turned just enough to look at his face. "Your nose. Your chin. Your ears." She touched each feature softly before kissing his cheek. She cuddled close to him, resting her head on Duck's shoulder. "I don't doubt any of that," she whispered. "You and me? We're in focus. It's the details that are fuzzy."
