Megan felt the color rising to her cheeks, but she just smiled and shrugged. Perhaps this was just another situation where the grass was greener on the other side. She ate more soup as she listened, listening to the whole story. "That sounds fantastic, really." At least she had the sense to realize that part of the reason why it sounded so fantastic was because most first dates did; the newness of it all was exciting. She was excited on Michelle's behalf. "What did you do with the rose? Are you decorating with it, or leaving it safe in the box?" she asked. She definitely remembered that from Michelle's post. It was a gorgeous present. It wasn't something necessary, so Megan wasn't quite jealous, but she wished that she had flowers. Justin would probably send her flowers if she asked, but asking just seemed like an uncomfortable thing to do.
She took another sip of soup. "It must be nice to meet someone who isn't a total jerk at a club in the middle of the night, though. Sort of unexpected, right?" The glowing review of Gideon had suggested that he was nothing less than a perfect gentleman. "I haven't gone out much, but it seems like whenever I do, the strangest people approach me. No one really... nice," she said, settling on a word that seemed appropriate.
