She shook her head and touched his chest. "No, it was absolutely not your fault --" she started to say but he was pulling her by the wrist off away from the rest of the party guests. Then he was the one who continued and even though she wanted to open her mouth and argue again, she let him have his say.
What he had to say surprised her. He went from defending his friend so much to saying that Savage was actually in the wrong. Which, she was. Seeing as she was completely rude to her without warning at all, Gwen was still smarting from Regulus jumping straight down her throat too. "Is she always like that?" she asked, suddenly, interrupting him for a moment.
"I've seen your temper too, you know," Gwen said, with a bit of a smile. She bit her lip. "And I was sort of hoping it would be shagging and possibly something more. I certainly wouldn't want to give up the shagging entirely."
