Ded & Hes
After a much needed pep talk from Pippa (and Merlin knows he probably received similar talks from the rest of his half of the wedding party), Dedalus was finally calmed down enough to be ready for the wedding ceremony to begin. He put all of the thoughts about how he was going to muck it all up out of his mind - he could do this. He'd been looking forward to this day since he was seventeen, after all. He was marrying his very best friend, his soulmate, the love of his life.
He walked through the castle and out onto the grounds, then made his way to the stables. The wedding was fairy tale themed, he was Hestia's knight in shining armour - the ceremony would start by him riding up on a white horse. Hestia would be watching from her room in the castle, where she would be finishing up getting ready. The tent's front doors had been expanded so the people in attendance could get a better view of what was going on. He took a few calming breaths, patted his horse and talked to it a bit, then finally mounted the horse and made his way up to the wedding tent. He felt equal parts corny and cool - and thankfully managed to make it to the front doors without a mishap. He even managed to dismount without tripping all over himself.
Dedalus walked up the aisle (he'd charmed the armor to not make noise and to be fairly light) to meet his half of the wedding party and wait for the bridesmaids and Hestia to arrive. He winked at Pippa as he passed her, then shook hands and quite possibly hugged the men that were standing up there beside him. He finally took his place and let out a deep breath, knowing full well he was probably going to lose it there in a few minutes, when he finally spotted Hestia walking down the aisle.
