Bill also sighed in relief as he stepped forward to shake Andromeda's outstretched hand. "No thanks needed. It's what any friend would have done," he said, hoping to reassure Andromeda further. He nodded at Tonks and wanted to risk shooting a smile in her direction, but decided against the idea.
Bill frowned a bit, as he hated it when someone that he cared about was sick or hurt. "I can owl in still - sit with you in your flat today, until your mum can get away," he offered, looking to Andromeda. He wasn't suggesting that work was more important than caring for her daughter - he just thought he'd offer in case she had anything pressing to tend to, before she was able to get away from the hospital for the day.
