WHO: Eva and Zacharias WHERE: Eva's flat WHEN: Wednesday Night WHAT: Visiting and surprise!injury RATING: TBD
She was hungry. Or rather she should be hungry. The soup that Zach had mentioned bringing over should have been something she insisted upon but instead she was laid out on her bed, eyes pressed close as she tried to convince herself that her side didn't actually hurt that much. She hadn't looked at the gash that had cut through the right side of her midsection in over half a day. When there were red streaks involved she had decided that it did no point to look at it. Mind over matter.
Eva had whittled her supply of painkillers down to nothing in an effort to maintain a blissful sense of ignorance. She was never going to Diagon Alley again, that was for certain. Lesson learned there. Not even to try and apply for work. She was going to stick to muggle establishments from now on. Things didn't seem to blow up there. And she didn't get hit by stray hexes that cut her skin open and left her with something she had no desire to see treated at that death trap Mungo's.
The fireplace flamed to life in the other room and Eva tugged her shirt down over the bandages she had wrapped around her middle and stood up slowly. She opened her bedroom door and leaned against the jamb. "Is that my hero?" She asked putting a smile on her face.
