Who: Astoria, Rose, OPEN! Where: New Year's party When: starting around ten Rating: TBD
Astoria had been pleasantly surprised when Rose agreed to a party. She had been certain that the other girl was completely against it, probably because she had said as much. She hadn't had a much time to plan as she would have liked but their flat looked divine. Fairy lights sprinkled the room, with moving fireworks painted on the windows. There was plenty of drinks of all kinds and snacks floating about to suit most tastes. It wasn't going to be a big party but she hoped it would be a fun one at least.
Astoria adored Rose but she didn't know many of her friends. She loved being around new people but she always got nervous and she could feel the butterflies start to grow. She took comfort in the fact that people she knew were going to be coming by as well. She wanted this to go off perfectly. Rose looked absolutely fantastic and she knew the other girl had been having a rough week. This party was going to be fun for Rose. Everything in the world seemed to going wrong. Purebloods were being targeted and everyone was unhappy. This year was bound to be better, it just had to be.
She looked at herself once more in the mirror, making sure nothing had fallen out of place. The guests had already started to arrive and she put on her best hostess face in order to check on them. Her mum had taught her well.
