Alicia couldn’t help but smirk. You didn’t have hair like hers without needed a good conditioner. It would be a frizzy mess otherwise. When she went out she would mess with it, otherwise she was content to let it do what it pleased or at least put it up out of her face. “Maybe a little. Maybe.” Alicia had to admit, Robbie might be a lot of things but he was honest. Few men would be so open about waxing and that might be one of those things he shouldn’t admit to too many people. “Oh, I wax the important places.” He could wonder where that might be on his own.
“No, you’ve worn one. I can see it in your eyes. It explains the waxing. I bet you even wore fishnets with it. It’s ok, Robbie-boy, I wouldn’t want hair sticking out of those either.”
Alicia knew when she was being dismissed and she saluted as she sauntered off to the dressing room. The dress was surprisingly soft, she’d give him that. She struggled a bit with the material, the fabric clinging to her hips before she could properly slide it down. Garment in place she looked at herself in the mirror. The bright white socks added a nice touch. Merlin help her, she almost looked like an adult. Alicia looked at herself in the mirror for a moment longer than she’d like to admit. How did he manage to make her look like a girl so easily? It was unsettling.
She stepped out of the dressing room, spotting Robbie and striking a pose. Alicia turned when she heard the saleswoman make a sound off to her side. “Problem?” The woman plastered a fake smile on her face, nodding to the brand on her arm. “Interesting choice in body art, that’s all.” Alicia nearly saw red, her mouth opening to tell her off before she could remember the woman was a muggle, she didn’t know. Alicia had made it a point to always show it off, it was the only ‘fuck you’ she had against the government. Only standing in this shop, with Robert and in the dress she found herself covering it with her hand. She hated herself for it.
