Being back in the restaurant immediately triggered memories of when Kevin was younger and would have family outings. Sure, they weren't the richest of families, but occasionally, they went out together to enjoy each others company and a decent plate of food to boot. He knew Padma would like it here as much as he liked it here, and it was obvious he had made the right choice of venue just by looking at her face.
"I am... busy as always," he said with a nod. He took a sip of his drink and twirled its contents around for a moment before setting it down again. "Work has me traveling around all over as you know and... Oh, I couldn't lie to you even if I tried." The grin on his face now was almost without humor, though his intentions were to keep things as light as possible. "I don't want you to worry though. I'm sure they'll turn up somewhere. It's just... well, I was out all night looking for Michael and Steve. Don't know where they've gone off to."
