WHO: Michael & Steve, NPC terrorists & DMLE
WHAT: PLOT: The boys set a net at One Shot which is made for max 4 - five guys show up, escape, and there is a scuffle. The 'terrorists' start yelling out for help, and when the DMLE arrives Michael & Steve are considered the bad guys and taken into the Ministry and branded STs due to Steve being pureblooded & already a Family of ST, and the 'terrorists' being muggleborn. If there's anything wrong with this - let me know! STACEY: Eva can freak out when Steve isn't home as expected.
WHERE: One Shot, Diagon
WHEN: Late Wednesday night
RATING: Medium for violence and language
It had taken months, but Steve was finally finished. The net was much more complicated than he'd originally intended. He had to come up with ways to make it both impervious to magic and muggle escape tools. It wasn't hard to do one or the other, but combining both had nearly been impossible. It had taken Steve a serious injury and about a month of 24/7 work to hash everything out. Though it had been exhausting, it had been completely necessary. With each passing day, Steve knew Michael was getting closer and closer to doing something stupid. This would prevent that; it had to prevent that.
For the past week or so, One Shot had been running on doctored hours. Kept as much as possible to daylight and the works. Since Monday, Steve had been passing information to customers that they would change the store back to regular hours, and that they would be staying open late on the 30th and 31st to start prepping stock for April 1st. Spring was here, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
When Diagon Alley began to wind down before people came back out to the pubs, Steve made sure there was only a few lights on in the store. In the office and above the cashier. The lighting was dim, but from the outside it was clear someone was inside. "Now we wait," Steve said, his voice full of patience. It was a little different from setting a trap for animals, but the concept and actions were the exact same.
