Rose took a little longer to peruse the menu, finally settling on a middle of the road priced main. Whilst the evening might not have been her idea she was very conscious it was someone else's money she was spending. Setting aside her own menu, she listened to what Mr Malfoy was telling her and nodded slightly. It made sense, most of the Pure families knew one another.
"She's lovely," she confessed as the truth of her emotions shone on her face "I'm very fortunate to be able to call her my flatmate. I'm sorry you missed it too, but perhaps you'll be able to attend the next one?" She was sure that there would be another party, another gathering for Astoria. How could there not be?
"I think I remember you from school, Mr Malfoy" He'd been in a different house and four years older but her life at Hogwarts had never been mundane and Rose Noticed. "How has life been treating you since graduating? Well I hope?"
