Draco had scheduled the meeting to fall within Alyssa's usual naptime, and thankfully, she had actually napped at the appropriate time. So she was safely upstairs while Draco waited for Harry to arrive, his laptop open as he worked while sitting on the sofa.
He glanced up as the fireplace came to life, setting aside his work as he stood. A small small quirk of a smile as Harry spoke. "The portraits are gone; we can make all the noise we want as long as we don't wake Alyssa."
This wasn't, perhaps, the way he had hoped to spend his afternoon, but it was necessary, politically. He gestured to the chairs in the parlor, offering a seat if Harry were so inclined.
