Rose/Michael
Rose watched in confusion as Michael choked on his drink, something had gone down the wrong way and he was in danger of ruining the rest of his beer which would frankly be a shame. Though, since he seemed unsure of her name or indeed his own spillig his beer might be for the best.
“No,” she said slowly as she watched him take a sip of her Cosmo. “I’m Rose and you’re Michael. Neither of us are Will; I don’t even know anyone called Will. Is he a friend of yours?” Straining on her tiptoes she looked round for Will, perhaps she’d recognise his face if not the name. “But whats the point if having rules if no one follows them? If everyone did that then the world would be chaos. Wouldn’t it?” The label on the bottle of his beer was just within reach, tempting her to pick at it with her nails as she listened to him. It was good advice she just dind’t..know how to follow it.
“Why would Steve kill you? He’s too lovely to try and hurt anyone except animals but that’s hunting and its different.” Rose gave a small sigh as she thought about what she could do to try and be exciting. Holidays in Europe sounded nice, exploring the world on her own.. “I’d like to try something like that and maybe take up riding again. Just because I live in London doesn’t mean I should forget my upbringing. I’ll try that – doing things just because I want to.” The hug she gave Michael was sudden, just a quick embrace before she broke the contact and smiled sunnily at him. “Unexpected or interesting doesn’t have to mean reckless or crazy! It can just be something that I want to do. And right now I think we should dance! Don’t you? C’mon it’ll be fun! And,” leaning forward Rose gave him a stage whisper “Even if you’re really, really bad it doesn’t matter because no one here knows you!”
