Astoria has hid herself in her room. She tried to put the journal away but she just couldn't do it. Perhaps she was trying to torture herself but she couldn't help herself. Her sister no longer wanted anything to do with her. She kept trying to pick fights, not because it would fix anything but because if she got a response she hadn't lost Daphne forever. It was better she was angry at her than forget her completely.
Her vision was blurry with tears and she knew she must look disgusting. Curled on her bed wiping away tears and snot like a dirty child who had been scolded by their parents. Hearing Terence on the other side of her door was both a relief and a burden. Astoria liked being taken care of but not when she was like this.
"C-C-Co," she stuttered, her voice shaking with frustration. Astoria tried to tell him to come in but she couldn't get it out, the realization of it sending another choked sob out of her lips. Maybe he would go away. She turned her back towards the door, for the first time wanting everyone to leave her alone.
