If Kegan were to be perfectly honest, the most exciting thing about Lavender was how green she was. Yes, she was gorgeous. But it was her reaction to Kegan that thrilled her most. Lavender's hesitancy to admit what was happening, her clear curiosity about everything regardless of how awkward she felt, and how flustered the girl appeared to get. Kegan hadn't missed the tone, wording, and scribbles in the journal. As a woman, Kegan threw Lavender off. Which was incredibly exciting.
By the time Lavender arrived, Kegan was about halfway through her pitcher. She smiled at the girl and shrugged. "Not a problem. Want a glass?" Kegan asked while gesturing at the empty glass and pitcher.
"This is generally a busy day for everyone. I'm good, though. Feels nice to finally sit and relax," she added with a smile. "What about you?"
