She moved over to join him, taking the chair to one side. Not good and no explanation. Well, she could guess at some of the explanation. She hadn't really expected him to be doing marvelously. "Can't complain," she replied about her own state of affairs with a shrug. Her own problems were things he'd be aware of, anyway. Except possibly one, which she wasn't talking to him about.
"Anything I can help with?" she asked, reverting back to his problems. She had an idea what his answer would be, but she had to offer. If nothing else, hopefully getting back on speaking terms would help things a tiny bit. It'd help her, at least.
