WHO Millicent Bulstrode & Oliver Wood & OPEN WHEN Saturday afternoon, around 2 o'clock WHERE Flourish & Blotts WHAT Looking for books, hating everyone around her RATING/STATUS Low for now / incomplete / open!
Millicent had, unfortunately, been required to go into work on a Saturday to work on a rather laborious (and boring) piece someone was writing on some sort of new potions and comparisons to past potions regulations, and she was sufficiently irritated. She was relieved to be done with what they needed her for by two, and had been more than pleased to leave and get away from the stupid Valentine's decorations that were already littering the Prophet offices. Not only did red and pink clash with each other - wasn't this a girls holiday? weren't girls supposed to be good with colors and all that? - but some of them were singing, and making bloody kissing noises. Luckily, Millicent had an office door she could shut, so shut it she had, for as much of the day she could get away with. Thankfully, too, the office was almost entirely empty (it was a Saturday, after all), so she hadn't had to worry about being bothered by everyone she was generally forced to work with.
Instead of going straight home from work - it was too early for her mother to be hiding away in her rooms yet, no point spending unnecessary time with her - she decided to get a coffee and spend some time at Flourish & Blotts. Takeaway cup secured, she was now browsing the aisles of the bookstore, the pointer finger of one hand skimming over the spines of books in the History section. She took a sip of her coffee before pulling a book from the shelf, but before she could open it to peruse the pages, someone bumped into her from behind. Scowling, Millicent slid the book back onto the shelf and slowly turned to see who had interrupted her peace and quiet with an elbow to the kidney.
