The kneazle looked perfectly happy where it was, like that pillowcase was the best thing it had found. "Seems like," she chuckled. "I don't think you've got a choice on whether that one comes home, yeah? You'll have to ask him what his name is, and I hope he comes back with something better than Bratling."
She pushed herself to her feet, walking across to scritch the heads of the pair that were sitting together while Bratling warbled worriedly by her heels. "You never mind, wee girl, I'm taking you home with me soon as I can. I think tomorrow, yeah?" Glancing back at Luag, she added, "if you finish out the paperwork, I'll push it through and get it processed quick enough so you can come back for your boy soonest."
