Rose never had a specific way of shuffling the cards though sometimes she wondered if she was doing it correctly but there was always a time when it just felt right to split them and she cut them neatly into four and stacked them back up to slide across the table towards Nate.
"Is he?" Wrapping her hands around the teacup, Rose let the warmth seep through from the china and take the last of the January chill from her skin. "He was telling me that he's going to be getting ready for lambing seasons which will probably mean some late nights for the two of you." She liked Nate - he was always so very cheerful and upbeat which counted for a lot in her book. Offering thanks for the tea, she took a sip and watched him work, fascinated by the way his hands moved.
"What about advertising? Perhaps a spot on one of the afternoon shows on the WWN or something in Witch Weekly? Though I'm sure Luag could be persuaded to paint something on the sheep for you. It'll be unique, I guarantee."
